Packed Lunch ~ Bento #1

Nope, this is not what I had for breakfast! Breakfast was fruits and oats. This was the last of three pieces! Its called 'cucur beras' slightly crunchy on the edge but soft and sweet in the centre.


Lunch was left over fried rice from last night,(chopped long beans, ikan bilis, eggs and brown rice) accompanied with chicken floss. This first box is 500ml. Second box contains tomato, cucumber and sweet peas. As can be seen, no 'kuah'! Had a cup of lipton tea to go with lunch!

*Clapping hands* Well done, Emily.... So, how does it taste without 'kuah' on the rice? ^_* Don't know if chicken floss is a good source for protein but I do love them, too...

Congrats on your very first bento. Very balanced and nicely packed too.

I also love my food with lots of gravy, without which I fall back on the ever present sambal ikan bilis in the fridge. The vegies should also provide 'juice'.
