Quiet Day

Woke up to sunlight ~ meant I overslept.... hence no walkie! Spent a buzy morning on the pc... doing this and that, reading all my favorite blogs.... yummy bentos!

Left home around 1.45pm for Jusco at Taman Cheras. Mission: to purchase some rice for sushi making or rather california rolls ~ a good item to start making.... but of course, things never go according as planned.

Made instead, muffins. Actually Rosie was supposed to make them but nicked her finger looking for something in her cutlery drawer. So I had to do the preparation and mixing. Have not baked in the longest time.

While we are waiting for the muffins to come out of the oven, the elderly couple who were engaged by AF to revamp their library came by to say good bye to Rosie... They had finished their assignment and are heading home to France this Sunday. And you know what? They complimented Rosie on her wonderful cooking! Now, isnt that great!

BIG SIGH!!!! camera in hospital and discovered my old camera also not working... life sucks!

But my dieting (or rather, food portioning) and exercise is going great! I am now walking 6~1km rounds (well this morning i.e.!) I having been walking 5~1km rounds this entire week! and I lost (yet again) that two lbs which crept back up on me when my head was turned the other way.... hoping to be 149lbs by CNY (and I believe I got an extra 15 days from 26th Jan to achieve this!)...... LOL!

DH has a habit of leaving his face washcloth in the sink with the tap dripping after using it and returning a hour and a half later after his morning walk to turn it off... Got him this to reduce his wastage of water!!

Craft Sale Venue!

Hiya ladies,

I have a young friend who is running the cafe at Alliance Francaise de KL at 15 Lorong Gurney, off Jalan Semarak.

Alliance Francaise has just started their new intake of young students for year 2009. Roughly about 200 students majority with their parents in tow. Rosie, my young friend is offering you creative ladies space to display and sell your hand crafted wares on saturdays free of charge but of course you and your friends supports her cafe! While the space is available (first come first serve) please bring your own tables/chairs/racks. Operating hours on sat: 9.00am to 7.00pm.

I walked 5~1km rounds (with the exception of yesterday ~ 45mins brisk walk) daily since tuesday and made sure my rice intake at dinnertime is as below:

Despite grand plans for today, nothing came to be! Was chatting with Wendy last night on exercise and diet.......... big sigh!

Was tossing and turning the whole night (must have been that cup of coffee I had at 5pm) and did not wake up until it was 7.45am and it was a bit too sunny and late for a much needed morning walk!

Was with mother to run some errands and we were in Sri Petaling...
