I used a decorative hoop to hold the fabric while stitching. The hoop is plastic and the wood grain looks very real. The hoop come in 2 sizes and I bought them from Dania's mother's online store! Sorry - I cleaned the shelf out of them!

Correct me if I am wrong, I think you've taken a liking to xs lately :) And the wonderful stitching (and stashing) that you're progressing on is testament of that!
