A Surprise Invitation!

My downstairs neighbour marvelled at me and DH going 'pak lou tor' - (old folks going on a date) on Sunday morning last! I was planning to go out to Amcorp mall when DH exclaimed 'lets go for BKT'; in Klang no less! So armed with the newspaper article about this new BKT place in Centra Mall near the roundabout, off we went.

Got stuck in a traffic congestion for a whole 45mins on the highway due to horrific accident involving a lorry and a small car; but we arrived nevertheless and managed to locate the mall easily.

Name of Restaurant: Pao Xiang Bah Kut Teh
Address: Lot G127 & G128, Ground Floor, Centro Mall, 41100, Klang, Selangor
Tel: 012-2638869 / 016-270820
Domain: http://paoxiang.bizbox.com.my or click here: Pao Xiang Bah Kut Teh

I was rather surprised to find that the restaurant was actually located on the ground floor of shopping mall!

Below: indoor
Below: quaint tea set
I must say Klang is the only place where I had ever eaten BKT with fork and spoon instead of chopsticks! Why ar?
Cos they serve bones with the meat and I do mean an arm and a leg! Aiseh, small or big trotters!
But we remembered our greens!
Da Tar!! finished!
Darn, two hours later on our return journey - there was still a 45mins congestion at the same stretch on the highway.

Read more about this year's run at Sue's blog here!

I Love Scones Too! These are unusual!

Remember our mother and daughters' bonding trip to Penang early this year? Well, we had the most amazing scones there at David Brown's on top of Penang Hill!

Well, we did have a couple of other dishes, but hey! I just cannot remember them! Just prove that the scones are unforgetable!

Back home in Selangor, my usual haunt for scones is at Amcorp Mall! A bag of six scones for RM10.00 will last DH roughly a week - one scone per day, defrosted and toasted! Yumms!
